Not without its sleazy merits if you manage to look at what it achieves in terms of mocking a Netflix true crime documentary by trying to make exactly a fairly decent Netflix true crime doc. I do think it wastes most of its cosmic horror possibilities and perhaps sticks to mostly mundane and worn-out serial killer routines -- ritualistic murders, his elusive identity and so on. And it definitely seems overstuffed as hell -- unbelievable amount of exposition in frantic 94min or I'm just not used to watching true crime anymore. Lowkey hilarious at times. Curious as to what filmmakers would do next if given a chance to do a sequel.
