Happy International Octopus Day!!! Today I'll be watching a couple of horror movies with octopi in them.
Jaws this is not, as much as it wants to be. The whole movie is very rushed, and although there were some good moments, it takes forever to actually take the fight to the octopus, and then it goes down in the most unsatisfying way. The soundtrack is awful, and the characters were boring. I do give this a lot of credit for not pulling punches with multiple kids dying, but it gets... a bit excessive with one scene.
The best part about this is the killer whales. Honestly, I would have watched a whole movie about them going around being awesome. Oh, right... um, don't watch this movie. I was expecting better for some reason."
