The Emperor's New Groove
9/1/2026:
This is the first time I have watched this movie in well over a decade. I watched this hundreds of times as a kid, and I was worried during the first half that this would not hold up to me as a 10/10. Oh, how wrong I was!
I find this to be incredibly funny, and the short runtime makes this a brisk comedy goldmine. There are so many moments that are still referenced to this day, and the film is incredibly ahead of its time. The voice acting is all perfect. The main cast of David Spade, John Goodman, Eartha Kitt, and Patrick Warburton gives so much personality to this movie.
Besides that, there’s not much to say! It’s 78 minutes, go watch it if you haven’t! Even if it’s just to understand the memes!

Mini Review: First time watching this in well over a decade, after seeing it hundreds of times as a kid. I was worried during the first half that it wouldn’t hold up as a 10/10. Oh, how wrong I was! This is still incredibly funny, and its short runtime makes it a brisk comedy goldmine. The voice acting is perfect, and David Spade, John Goodman, Eartha Kitt, and Patrick Warburton give the characters so much personality. Still a classic!
