The One
1/7/2026:
I was going to say that I was continuing with Matrix movies, but this One only has the most superficial of similarities.
This is a movie that I have seen dozens of times growing up. I would call this a guilty pleasure, but it's my firm belief that this is one of the most under-rated and most misunderstood films of all time. It's a tight movie that has some of the most kick-ass action, music, and emotional pays I have ever seen. Did I mention the music? The sound track in this is probably one of the best sound tracks given to an original action movie ever! Jet Lie does a phenomenal job with his stunts and does a great job acting against himself many time in the film. I still can't beleive the movie is basically under 80 minutes long. This could have been a three hour epic and have infinite spin offs and I would never tire of this! They don't make movies like this anymore!
Maybe I should watch more nostalgic movies because I am living the vibe I am having in 2026 so far! :D
