The Shop Around the Corner
James Stewart is always a joy to watch, but I felt he was a lot better in his other films. It might be because this is one of his earlier works, but I just didn't really vibe with him here. I did enjoy some of the antics surrounding the store, and seeing that one guy get bunched that hard was very funny. (Especially considering how old this movie is, I was not expecting that!)
Overall, this one didn't do much for me, but I'll definitely give it another chance someday. I'm still working my way through the Letterboxd Top 500, so I think my expectations are a tad higher for these movies.
