The Truth
This is the first Hirokazu Kore-eda film that I have watched that's not in Japanese. I love it when directors try there hands at other languages and this one is in both English and French. Wim Wenders comes to mind and has made so many amazing films hat I adore.
Unfortunately, this does not fit that mold. This is incredibly boring to me and I was disinterested in a story that should have fascinated me. The main issue is that I just don't think that this is paced well and I have seen the drama in literally a hundred movies. This is as cliché as it is dull.
However, the three main leads in this are amazing and I will die on the hill that Juliette Binoche is one of the greatest actresses' of all time. Also, you can never go wrong with Ethan Hawke! They are both the best and made this better!
