I had not seen the previous two installments in this sequence, but it didn’t seem to make much difference.

This is a film that probably benefits from being seen on a big screen. I could only run to a 43in television. In these circumstances, one tends to focus more on the story and the dialogue, rather than the cinematography. Given that these are not the film’s strong points, I will kindly suggest that my score might not be entirely fair.

But, for a suspenseful heist film, I found there was little suspense, the stunts seemed underwhelming and everything seemed far more intricate or elaborate than was required. I feel the same way about a lot of crowd-pullers at the cinema today.

The politics of the film are risible. We can have a better world if only we put the right family members in charge. No, I don’t think so. I’ll stick with my explanation that the economic system we live under is exploitative and encourages exploitative people to exploit us some more.

Mini Review: Risible politics, lacks suspense, underwhelming. I hope Woody could afford to do something good off this payday.
