Ewoks: The Battle for Endor
Much less fun than an Ewok movie starring Brimley and Gleason should have been – this is a bland and anodyne kids fantasy film that no doubt served as TV filler for a million Saturday afternoons, whose connection to any semblance of a STAR WARS related property is tenuous at best, and further hurt by ugly and (in the case of Wicket’s steely, unblinking eyes) unsettling character designs, especially on the Ewoks themselves. Brimley can do nothing but try to minimise his winces of embarrassment, especially in the toe-curling scene where Miller attempts a serenading lullabye (?).
