Ewoks: The Battle for Endor

Used to love as a kid...Realized it was crap

The ewok movies attest to the very moment george lucas lost every interest in filmmaking and became a full-on merchandise muppet. The first one (caravan of courage) could've counted as a failed attempt to expand the universe, but this time around there's purpose behind everything. Lucas has successfully identified kids as the target group to go for, if you're in for the payday rather than anything else. At least back then he had the decency not to put 'star wars' in the title.

This movie is a bit darker than the first one but kids should still enjoy it.

Kids may enjoy it but the Star Wars connection is loose at best. Replace Ewoks with any other furry puppet and the story doesn't change much.

I saw this when I was 13 and hated it. Considering what a huge Star Wars fan I was at the time, I can't imagine how awful I'd think it is now...

Decent enough for a TV movie with Ewoks and the grumpy guy from The Thing and those old people commercials.

Ewoks are probably the worst thing about the original trilogy, and this movie is nothing but ewoks.

Good adventure movies for kids from the 80's...doesn't really serve a purpose now I suppose.

I know I watched this at some point in time as a child, but I don't remember it well enough to hate it...

While the first Ewok movie at least had the potential to become a passable children's movie, this one never even aims for anything but direct-to-video fantasy shlock.

A childhood staple

Automatically better than the first Ewok film thanks to Wilford Brimley and his super-fast alien pal. Still dorky, and Cindel cries like crazy in this.
