Fearless
Watched extended director’s cut: at 2.5 hrs this is too bloated and tedious in its plotting to be able to recommend on the basis of some admittedly stunning action sequences, not helped by my own negative predilection to Li who I can’t find interesting as a hero; closed off and shut down to an almost irritating extent here, making the character (and film) difficult to find involving or edifying. The fine action sequences (and Li’s admittedly awesome agility through them) are definitely the highlight.
