Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces

My final opportunity to watch a “new” Lynch “movie” (RIP) probably elevates this a little higher than it deserves, but there is something fascinating about the life and liveliness that powers this collection of what amounts to off-cuts that really does make this a delightful treat (especially if you have a fondness for the PEAKS-verse). The abrupt and staccato seams of the editing actually enhance the bizarre Lynchian edge, and while there’s little here that adds much substance to FIRE WALK WITH ME, it’s still great fun as an additional poke around in the broader universe.
