Arrival

The annoying thing about this film is I got the twist before it was fully revealed. I understood it when they started talking about how the aliens time is warped compared to ours but I thought the idea of what someone thought were flashbacks being the future was very clever. I also was impressed with the subtle details I expect from Denis. For example, the word Hannah being the same backwards as it is forwards linking with Amy Adams characters life and the parellels between her home and the alien ship to show that we are similarly strange aliens to another species. However, this film is not as good as Denis' others like prisoners or enemy but still worth a watch.
