Arrival
Denis Villeneuve once again proves his mastery, not just in sci-fi, but in filmmaking as a whole. Drawing clear inspiration from Christopher Nolan, the film delivers a shocking final twist that leaves a lasting impact. The stunning cinematography, combined with a simple yet compelling storyline, creates a visually and emotionally engaging experience. The touch of realism, though perhaps not for everyone, grounds the narrative and makes the viewer feel as though this could happen in our own world. While the pacing could have been slightly improved, it does little to detract from the brilliance of this masterpiece. I can’t wait to watch it again.
