Bohemian Rhapsody
A few days after watching this film, I have come to a verdict.. it's very very bad to be honest. The script seemed very childish and the speak-song-speak-song structure of the film made the legacy of Queen feel like they had to put no work in to reach fame as a band (which they did). Malek was fine. A bit creepy. But fine. It's a shame this film wasn't a 15 or 18 that should the real grit behind Freddys life like the real gay culture, his swearing personality and basically a non censored look at a rock icons life. But no. Ironic seeing a film about writers arguing on good writing when the film was so shitily written. "I don't want to be an AIDS poster boy" Fred says whilst the film is making him exactly that. The aids victim singing was cringe along with the whole film.
