Dune
Listen listen. I haven't read the bloody book ok. As someone who has no connection with the source material, this really didn't click with me. I honestly would much prefer if Villeneuve did some more original stories but hey ho. It looked beautiful obviously and his grappling with vfx is amazing. Howeevverrrrr, I genuinely don't think it's a very strong story in film form. It's a big old journey narrative but to me it wasn't anything special. The characters are all so brooding all the bloody time. Just wanted more life to this film.
