The Phoenician Scheme
For me, this was easily the most enjoyable Wes Anderson movie since The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Pacing was solid, it rushed and walked when it needed to. I've been missing a good, expeditious movie from Wes Anderson and this scratched the itch.
Funny and with nice timing, too — Jeffrey wright's one line (you know the one) had me howling.
Could not have asked for a better pair than Bryan Cranston and Tom Hanks, they were electric together. And holy moly what an delightful addition Michael Cera was, played a perfect bumbling yet competent type.
Would love a rewatch ASAP as possible!

It almost seems like a waste considering how much work must have gone into each shot, let alone each set of this movie. And I only say waste, because...Anderson does not necessa...
