Hilarious high-dea of a premise, pretty cookie cutter execution. Most of the story beats were very predictable, but there were snippets of glory. Cage’s inner monologues with uncannily de-aged Nicky, Lucas’s incredible line delivery towards the end “…oh my god, it’s nick cage…”
Far from my favorite Nick Cage movie, but I laughed quite a bit and Pedro Pascal’s fanboying personality felt like a perfect complement.
