It’s Deni after all. Well structured and directed. Good use of flashback and parallels. Good twist. SPOILER:
How many time are we going to use incest as a twist? I mean since Oedipus. It wasn’t that insane. The major problem with this movie is the pacing. Directors feel like they should add useless shots and that somehow help us know the characters more or something like that. The truth is you have a story here and now you need to sell it to audiences. I shouldn’t have to feel like skipping forward the movie. Guess what, I did and i missed nothing. This would’ve made a great 1.5 hour movie. I had to keep myself invested. That’s the movie’s job not mine. And for that reason I’m out.
