The Secret in Their Eyes (2009) - Rated 04 Aug 2026
One step deeper than a soap opera. Plot holes. Frustrating. Slow. Second Argentinian movie I’ve watched and was disappointed for the second time. They tried something but they failed. Not worth the watch

The Death of Robin Hood (2026) - Rated 04 Aug 2026
Starts off strong but falls flat at the end. Not a meaningful ending to his character. Had potential. Inspired by Logan for sure. A little too much. Mid.

Movie about edging a revenge. It’s good. Nothing crazy.

Confessions (2010) - Rated 04 Aug 2026
Really good. Captivating story. Satisfying ending. One of the best uses of Radiohead in a movie. Saved Asian cinema for me. Way better than oldboy.

As Above, So Below (2014) - Rated 04 Aug 2026
Not a fan of found footage personally but this one I liked a lot. Crazy concept. A couple of scenes really got me. They just had a personal problem with that poor black guy. The end was a little funny. They couldn’t go back but she just solos it. Horror wise it was good. Worth the watch.

Gone Girl (2014) - Rated 04 Aug 2026
Really good movie. Dramatics of marriage. Acting is great. Ending is a little messy. Love the colour wave. An entertaining fantasy about the simple struggles of marriage dialled to the max. Definitely worth the watch.
