Marty Supreme
It’s overhyped for sure and it because of the insane marketing behind it. Performance was alright, nothing crazy and Oscar worthy. However, this year has been a weak year so he might win it. Story is good and entertaining. It’s a little chaotic and has that Safdie touch to it. There are some tangents and plots that were uninteresting like the dog, hotel, and hustling. There was no meaning behind it. Ok he did all of that for what? Was his character redeemed? No. Did he at least win something? No. He just beat the Asian guy in one set. Not a game, one set. It was just directionless action just like One battle after another.
