How hard is it to tell the truth. Damn near impossible. And that was in 1999. Imagine today. How many good men does it require for the truth to be told. How many lives destroyed? This is an important story that needed to be told. Not a single cigarette was smoked in the movie. Al Pacino is great. He’s passionate. Again with the makeup. I don’t know why he does this. The grey hair old look on young actors. Like Tom Cruise in collateral. It just doesn’t work. The story wonders about in the first act. It picks up in the second and third acts. You get invested. Will the truth be told? I don’t like how his wife just vanishes. Aside from the problems in the movie, the issue discussed is very important. I think we should all put ourselves in the same position and play the devil’s advocate.
