The Remains of the Day

This is an adaptation of a novel. The story is one that is not expected to be a story. Why would you write about this? A Butlers life. This is a reminder that any story if written right with enough passion could be interesting and have people invested in it. However, I’m not the biggest fan of this movie. The simplicity of the story leaves much to be desired. I guess I expected a lot of drama as these movies usually have. It’s still worth a watch. Just having Anthony Hopkins giving a performance on your screen is worth it.
