If you’re doing a basketball movie, you’re not innovative, so why even try? They wanted to be different, but they failed epically. There is nothing good about this movie except Ben Affleck fighting depression. Even that got ruined by the terrible ending of the story. There are attempts at connecting the characters and one character getting inspired by the other, but it is not quite successful. The movie wanted to be inspirational, but it is just not. Cheesy and cliché lines were used — 90% of the lines in this movie were used in other basketball movies as well.
