Just to avoid any misunderstanding, this is meant as an accolade, but this movie looks like a 360 game. It's such a specific garish look, very reminiscent of the Resident Evil movies era, only this time the digital hellscape is a steampunk Soulslike inspired scenery. In fact, kick Alex Garland out of the Elden Ring movie and give Paul WS Anderson an actual budget and the Dark Souls movie rights!
Paul WS Anderson has proven himself time and time again as an auteur of the digital hokum, and he's throws everything he can at the screen with a shoe string budget.
