The Naked Gun
This film knows exactly what it wants to be. The humor is unapologetically corny, packed with visual gags, ridiculous situations, and plenty of throwbacks to the original films. Some jokes land better than others, but I found myself laughing often enough to stay engaged.
The story is mostly an excuse to move from one joke to the next, which is perfectly fine for a movie like this. While it never reaches the heights of the Leslie Nielsen classics, it captures enough of that spirit to be entertaining.
It's not a great comedy, but it's fun, and it doesn't take itself seriously for a second.

Few comedy sagas have left such a lasting mark as The Naked Gun. The first film from 1988 is still one of my all-time favorites, a true benchmark of how far absurd humor can go ...
