The Strangers: Chapter 2
This was better than I expected but it's not much of a movie at all. It really feels like watching a couple of episodes of a TV show in the middle of the season. There is no beginning, there is no end, and it's basically just a long chase sequence.
I really don't understand what this trilogy is trying to do. The main point of original The Strangers was that we don't know anything about the villains. Now we learn something about the villains, but it's not interesting at all and feels like someone just had to think of "an origin story" for these people that didn't need one in the first place.. and didn't do a very good job.
Anyway, it is watchable and I'll see the third part as well, although I will no doubt feel that this whole trilogy was kinda pointless after it.
