Monsters, Inc.

Watched Monsters, Inc. This year. This is a movie in the Pixar catalog that has always been a favorite since I was little. This buddy comedy directed by Pete Doctor from 2001 is a movie that will be remembered as a good one. This movie is about two monsters who are practically best friends one Mike Wazowski, a small one eyed green monster who has a really nice car but can never drive it and is a romantic partner with Celia. The Other monster is named James P Sullivan but everyone calls him “Sully” and he is the monster who is famous for being the one of the greatest scarers of all time. In his movie one day one of the little ones comes into the monster's universe and causes chaos in the city. The quality is good. The storytelling is a great aspect of this movie which makes it so great. The friendship is developed throughout the story. The plot is simple and basic. The great Steven Spielberg once said “A movie that you can explain in under 25 words is a good one”. One of the themes being when a problem hits you, you must work together really shows that this movie shows a lot. Which is probably why it is such a great kids movie. The animation ran rather smoothly and was appealing. The voice acting was great from John Goodman and Billy Crystal giving the characters so much life. Overall I would rate this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars. My favorite scene is the scene where someones say bring out the scares and there is that scene of them walking down. I would recommend this movie.
