Thomas Dixon jr was a white supremacist,
an espoused proponent of racial segregation and vehemently opposed universal suffrage and miscegenation. He was a spokesperson for Jim Crow segregation and supported American racism in general.

for Dixon hatred of socialism was another source of inspiration. He wrote three books on the matter : The One Woman: A Story of Modern Utopia (1903), Comrades: A Story of Social Adventure in California (1909), and The Root of Evil (1911). Of the three "comrades" was adapted into a film entitled "Bolshevism on Trial". This barely understands the problems of industrial capitalism and it's solutions of racist, paternalistic oversight of everything and everyone is downright stupid. You would have to be brain dead to think that this is good entertainment. Entertainment is not the meaning of this film : propaganda and hatred of equality and equity is. It's there to safeguard that idiots are surrounded by comforting lies. I guess this was right time to watch this racist , anti-socialist piece of trash anyway.
