No One Will Save You

Meh. I get it, it's a movie about societal rejection/exclusion. Aliens land, she tries to escape them in a town full of people who don't like her. That's the premise along with a little bit of character development. Most of the time she's running from aliens. nails a few of them but I won't spoil the ending.

The ending didn't land with me. I don't see the point. In fact, I'm so glad I fast forwarded many moments because her evading / running from the aliens was drawn out for too long and most of all: why would I even care?

It would have been more appropriate if the film was short. Its moralizing character would have been more clear and still I wonder: why care? What's the point?
