Deeply flawed brilliance accompanied by heavy set emotions, superb execution and the usual post-modernistic social messaging. Yes, it's everything. And so my final score, 5/10 makes sense: 0 for the bad, 10 for the good. 5 is the average. - Full Review

The Witch (2016) - Rated 22 Oct 2026

My main complaint, to conclude, is that it was a too slow of a family drama which had a few witches in it to keep your attention. I gave it a 4/10 because it needs two more notches to make it into anything but a slow paced drama. It's intelligent drama, that I'll admit. This is not primarily a "witch" movie if you're looking for that. The witch has a small role in the bigger picture here. La Moustache (2005) - Rated 22 Oct 2026

Deep movie about identity of an aging man, wrapped in mystery.Poorly executed though. Wasn't an easy project to pull off anyway I think. But I'm a customer and supposed to pay for this product. That's where I draw the line and rate it 3/10 only. - Full Review

Upstream Color (2013) - Rated 22 Oct 2026

Sluggish, pretentious art-house slowness with bad zooming, which is also art-house-ish i suppose. Also shaky cam like mad. Science-Fiction wise too many unanswered questions - it's not even a SF actually.Interesting adult story botched by poor execution in every single way. - Full Review

Ex Machina (2015) - Rated 22 Oct 2026

I rate it 4 out of 10 stars because the slow pace holds the movie back quite a bit. And the amounts of nudity is too much. It's also too pretentious. The movie is not "that" smart. The good thing for many viewers is that it's an accessible "thinking-movie". Those are rare. The wrongs of this movie should not be rewarded I feel, despite the presence of some merit. - Full Review

Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017) - Rated 22 Oct 2026

Deliberately extinguished a lot of the other storylines significance - basically extinguishing the Star Wars world. We do get our dose of feminism though.
