The movie was not very good. It follows a nice family visiting another family that turns out to be extremely irritating.

Most of the film focuses on that dynamic, which quickly becomes dull. The eventual twist reveals that the hosts intend to murder their guests and take their belongings. The earlier emphasis on their annoying behavior feels unrelated to that motive, as if the story shifted direction partway through production.

As usual it's the European white rural persona which is to be associated with evil. Make no mistake, this is not coincidental.
Mini Review: White rural people turn out to be evil (what do you know).Family meets other family during holiday. They visit them and turn out the hosts are extremely annoying. But there's more to it...The eventual twist has nothing to do with this, giving me the impression that the plot or direction has changed mid-movie.It's the same old formula: give useless hints throughout the movie, try to hold their attention and then the big reveal comes.
