A Herança

Genuinely creepy horror on blood ties and the curses every family carries and haunts its members -- whether they are aware of that or not. Also a film about how overrated it is this thing about 'getting to know where/who you came from', because just fuck that. Good atmosphere in the first half or so, but it kinda gets lost midway and ends up delivering a pretty poor climax. Very good cast, specially the aunts, but not enough of the reigning brazilian scream queen, Nomacce. Reminded me a bit of Amelia's Children, which is a superior film.
