Den of Thieves 2: Pantera
Really like how it plays more as a wildly fun, sleazy and freewheeling buddy hangout film than a pure, tight, economical actioner. Plot doesn't make any sense at all, but it somehow works as some sort of Ocean's Eleven going full vulgar as this group of talented thieves tries to pull off a major diamond job in France. Every scene with O'Shea and Butler is pure bliss, specially during that party, Nick getting immensely fucked up, shouting 'fuck NATO!' and saying sorry to a serbian fella for american bombings in the 90s. Delicious, meaty eurothriller -- every security dude watching Monaco x Nice during the heist lol. Can't wait to see what Gudegast will do next time around.
