Cool to follow Lee willing to adress late capitalism's multiple crisis -- IA, financialization of life, you name it -- and also have a blast while doing it. Most of the updates applied to story really hit home -- status of music industry right now, worries about reputation above feelings and relationships in the age of doomscrolling, attention economy-- and the weird moments pay off as well -- money delivery, Wright and Denzel going to get the money. It's perhaps too precious about some stuff -- everything that happens after the spectacular new version of the original finale, now in a recording studio --, but feels undeniably powerful, complex, stark and somewhat sweet, fun, poetic and truthful -- love the Puerto Rican Day Parade documentary outing -- like only he knows how to pull off.
