voices of the dead. don't care much about kaufman's melancholic self-defeating (complimentary) poetry since my early twenties and this certainly doesn't move the needle for me -- i'm still a loser, though, i'm just into different loser shit. gotta say i like most of the urban ramblings and one-liners -- not written by him, which means he's at least trying to do something slightly 'new' this time around --, but it's just too bad he always manages to find the most dramatically inert ways to create scenes. a film made for posting on instagram.
