inside israel's genocide machine through the silhouettes and digitally distorted voices of 24 former idf intelligence officers and soldiers, as we watch night life unfolding in tel aviv like there is no mass killing taking place a few miles from there by the same government that rules its country -- faceless israeli people on their couches watching the news or exercising. the palestinian who are killed on a daily basis since october of 2023 are also treated as nondescript targets by these public servants. they are smartphone numbers whose locations they can pinpoint and just drone bomb them, no matter who they are. in fact, they know very well who they are murdering, but they just keep doing it anyway. one says is feels like a video game, another one describes his job as 'insanely fun'. a powerful film not only on the dehumanization fully achieved when ai -- technofascism's latest frontier -- is weaponized as a state tool to decide who lives (no one in gaza) and who dies (everyone in gaza), but also on how monitor/screen mentality is shaping (or has already shaped) the way we collectively observe and react to violence by simply making it less human, less real, less tactile, more mediated, more gamified, more like a piece of weightless entertainment -- i'm not gonna be the last person to say that, but it's been three years and twenty days that we've been watching genocide on social media feeds. free palestine, always and forever.
