The Ghost of Frankenstein

Not as gothic as we'd like. Undercooked, mildly executed with just one idea -- now the solution is to give the creature a new brain and Ygor ultimately wins the race against the doctor because he wants to live forever harder than anyone else. Crazy how they keep finding new Frankenstein dudes lol. This time around it's one that treats 'diseases of the mind'. Either way, it's nice how it explores a bit of the medical horrors we didn't quite get to see in the previous films -- too bad the climax feels way too fast and doesn't let us properly savor it. Really missed Lugosi's creaking neck. Chaney tries to bring a sturdy physical presence, but his version just looks dorky.
