Admire its overstuffed and relentless -- every scene filled with a revelation/twist -- weirdness in the third act, from paranoid to sadistic horror and even a bit of climate apocalypse in a couple of seconds -- old people about to drain Davidson's 'nectar', laughing while they say their ages and how much they like to fuck --, but it wastes way too much time with boring build-up to really get there -- a bunch of trivial 'vision' scenes to depict protagonist's mental state, as he can't sleep and yeah, of course, is scarred by trauma. Wish it went full berserk and sleazy right from the beginning, with no exposition or 'character development' whatsoever, and wanted more disaster movie shit. But maybe then it just wouldn't be a DeMonaco film, would it?
