The Perfect Neighbor

It definitely makes good use of footage to tell a truly revolting and infuriating story about America's racist judicial and legal system, but it always left me wondering if there was truly enough material for a feature and questioning some of the choices made -- like how it organizes the narrative in a cathartic way, not unlike most true crime documentaries, and the lowkey ominous score. I wished it went further and beyond the usual 'another story of systemic racism' or 'the images speak for themselves' to actually question and investigate how and why american authorities keep letting this kind of crime happen over and over against black people.
