Some Girls Do
“Some Girls Do” is the second Bulldog Drummond movie and still a James Bond clone, played mostly straight despite a few eye-rolling moments. Drummond still isn’t a spy; he’s an extremely wealthy insurance investigator, though the movie treats him like a secret agent. Don’t ask me.
Once again, the villains include beautiful female assassins, except this time they’re actually robots. Drummond has to uncover the plot, stop the killings, and save the day. It’s simple, follows the familiar formula, and delivers exactly what it promises. If that’s what you’re looking for, it works well enough. If you want anything more, you won’t find it here.
