Parasite
⚫️&⚪️
Only the second time I’ve watched Parasite, but it’s really stayed with me since the first.
Watching in black and white was an interesting exercise. It’s not necessarily additive, but it does highlight how this, and all of the greatest films, function effectively, even when stripped down.
Director Bong really tickles my aesthetic sensibilities.
The score is better than I remembered. Props to whoever thought to bring in some theramin in the downward descent/flooding scene.
Will definitely revisit again and again.
