One Battle After Another
mark my words, one battle after another will be the movie of this generation. it will be talked about like the new pulp fiction, and paul thomas anderson will be everybody's favourite director. exciting, tragic, funny, terrifying, what can't he master in this movie-of-the-decade masterpiece! i will be rewatching this many, many times. i don't want to spoil it, just see it for yourself. it really is that good. this is not recency bias; this is not because paul thomas anderson is my favourite director and has been for a while and will continue to be for a while, it just really is that damn good.mark my words, one battle after another will be the movie of this generation. it will be talked about like the new pulp fiction, and paul thomas anderson will be everybody's favourite director. exciting, tragic, funny, terrifying, what can't he master in this movie-of-the-decade masterpiece! i will be rewatching this many, many times. i don't want to spoil it, just see it for yourself. it really is that good. this is not recency bias; this is not because paul thomas anderson is my favourite director and has been for a while and will continue to be for a while, it just really is that damn good.

Really fun and fast-paced, with great energy throughout. The vibes are spot-on, and the performances are outstanding. Sean Penn goes full Dennis Hopper mode and it’s electric.

Out the gates at 60mph, this was so fast paced and tense that I completely forgot that it was a 3hr movie (until I had to pee 30min til the end). But I held it, I was strong.
