V/H/S/94
V/H/S 94 is the best this series has been, and it's the fourth entry. After Viral, this was a breath of fresh, bloody air.
This is such a solid anthology, two shorts rise to the top for me. Storm Drain, this is a classic V/H/S short. It's such a great little creature feature, and really does the scary monster horror trope some justice. Next, and probably one of the all time great shorts in V/H/S history, The Subject. Directed by Timo Tjahjanto, who was also a part of the greatest V/H/S short ever Safe Haven, was the absolute peak of this anthology. With insane practical effects, some surprising light moments, and a great story; this short really shows how much talent Timo has.
This was a blast, and a super great movie. If the V/H/S franchise was only made up of this movie and 2, then it would be perfect. However, I think there are more . . .
