White Chicks

I might be giving this movie a higher score than I should since I used to watch the hell out of this as a teenager, but I definitely get why it might not be for everyone. Not because of the mere existence of race and gender jokes, but because of how surface level they are. "Oh look, a Mexican! Say something in Spanish." "Hey, black person. Be black." Hell, I hesitate to even call them jokes most of the time. They're more like general observations delivered in a forcefully exaggerated way. It was like the ham was a substitute for natural integration.
I get that tongue-in-cheek ridiculousness is the whole point, but there weren't as many moments that I really lol'd at as much as I did when it first came out.
