Blade Runner 2049

I do think that this movie flopping is one of the more confusing things I've seen in a while. The movie feels like it would have all of the things that would create a hit; science fiction, big names like Gosling, Ford, Leto, Armas, etc, and insane visuals. Strangely, however, the movie did not perform in the box office as may be predicted. That does not, however, affect my opinion on this movie. The ethical debate throughout of the "created" humans, and whether they are real or not is certainly intriguing. I will say, while Gosling does play this role quite well, there are scenes where I feel as though a little more may be required; then again, he is technically a robot, so perhaps that was intentional! Either way, Ford and Leto have great performances to complement Gosling, making a solidly good movie.
