November re-review: Cutting my score in half as the show has sadly become insufferably “woke” and cringey. They just can’t keep their politics out of everything. 9-1-1 doesn’t try to reinvent television, but that doesn’t stop it from being a highly effective show at what it does: entertaining. From its very first season, it’s managed to hook viewers with a well-balanced mix of drama, adrenaline, and surprisingly relatable characters. I liked the firehouse storyline, but the longer I watched it, the more it just became about sex and homosexuality. It was overbearing in the storyline and I gave up on the show.

Dumbest writing ever

This show began with a lot of potential but as each story line unfolded in the most predictable manner possible it lost the ability to become a game changer and became just another network drama to help pass the time. Admirable performances from Connie Britton and Oliver Stark help try and bring the show back to reality but ultimately it just never reaches a level unseen before and that hurts a show especially in 2018.
