Barely remembered this even existed until watching it recently. Liked it when I was a kid, but thought it was pretty weird. Kinda feel the same way now.

An interesting cartoon premise. One of the original NickToons (Doug, Rugrats, and Ren & Stimpy - then Rocko, then this). I was lucky enough to be JUST the right age to enjoy this as it was airing, and have fond memories of the premier of NickToons in general. While a general downwards trend in quality from Nickelodeon, Real Monsters is still leaps and bounds above most of the garbage coming from Network TV these days, and I have to give it nostalgia points.
