"Nothing beats the comedy". Truly touching and outrageously fun comedy special by Sandler. Loved the crazy tunes, the way he tells jokes in a both candid and goofy way, always so relaxed and just enjoying his time on stage -- it seems like he starts out a story and doesn't know where the hell he's going with it, yet he always finishes it in a brilliant fashion. A show you wanna hang out with from time to time, specially when you are finding yourself a bit down and depressed.

Starts out a little rocky, with an opening a little too overtly similar to the staged beginnings of Eddie Murphy’s concert films; the tone isn’t quite right as he starts his set, with reaction to presumably (hopefully) staged technical problems a little too aggressive and abrasive to be endearing. Once Sandler hits his rhythm, the show plays like gangbusters, showcasing a mix of dark humour, irreverence and silliness, capped by a tribute to comedy that found my breath catching in my throat.
