Satchmo: The Life of Louis Armstrong

Tho perhaps hampered by being made as part of a TV series (budget) of docos & lack of actual film of the early part of Armstrong's career this keeps getting better and better as Armstrong ages into more modern times. The talking heads aren't as intrusive here. For me subs would have been appreciated as some parts weren't quite understandable due to accents and/or age of the speaker. Recomended as an insight to a genius tho does tend to gloss over some faults, on the other hand they're mentioned.
