Love this show so hard. Turned on to this series by a Kenny Lauderdale review, and he was right to recommend it: the sci-fi might be very 80s, but the show just oozes atmosphere from its excellent world-building. Frikkin bad-ass action where Mellowlink takes out his betrayers one by one. They're in mechs; he's on foot, up-close, with his armor piercing rifle, with cunning and skill. Set-pieces like a crashed spaceship on it's side, or a Mad Max-style assault on an armored train. Love it.

While nowhere near the level of awesome that is Votoms this was still a solidly entertaining show that stands on its own and was not just another spin-off.
